One Land Athletics – Travel Basketball Program

Build. Compete. Grow.

One Land Travel Basketball is a stand‑alone competitive program designed to help athletes develop their skills in true game‑setting environments. We focus on fundamentals, confidence, and smart, disciplined play that prepares athletes for long‑term success.

Ages & Team Structure

We are forming three competitive teams representing the greater South Charlotte area.

• Ages: 8–14

• Roster Size: 8–10 players per team

• Player Levels: First‑time to advanced athletes welcome

Our evaluation process places athletes where they can grow, contribute, and compete.

Weekly Practices

Teams practice once per week:

• Elon Recreation Center Currently (Thursdays 6-8 pm)

• Indian Land Recreation Center

Each session blends game speed reps fundamentals, team concepts, footwork, spacing, and game IQ.

Tournaments & Local Competition

Teams will compete in 4–6 tournaments throughout the season. Local travel includes:

• Charlotte market

• Rock Hill market

• Home matchups in Indian Land when invited teams accept

Please note: Some tournaments may postpone or cancel due to team availability or school facility blackout dates. We communicate updates immediately.

Tryouts & Player Placement

Tryouts include:

• Combine‑style testing

• Skill stations

• Full‑court scrimmages

Strong performance in both areas improves depth‑chart placement. If teams are not filled immediately, additional tryout dates will be scheduled.

Uniforms & Player Conduct

Uniform cost 

Players are responsible for keeping and bringing their own uniforms and game‑day gear. Athletes must uphold respectful, disciplined behavior. Any conduct that jeopardizes One Land’s eligibility may impact participation in tournaments

  Season Schedule 

  Our travel basketball season runs from late August through December, giving athletes a full competitive cycle of development, practices, and tournament play.
